Description
Smith & Nephew Allevyn Hydrocellular 5″ x 5″ Adhesive Dressings provide enhanced coverage for larger wounds requiring advanced moisture management. The expanded size makes these dressings ideal for surgical sites, pressure ulcers, and extensive skin damage while maintaining the same proven hydrocellular technology. The triple-layer system includes a non-adherent wound contact layer, highly absorbent foam core, and breathable waterproof backing. This design promotes autolytic debridement while protecting the wound from external bacteria and contamination. The larger adhesive border ensures secure fixation even on challenging anatomical locations. These dressings can absorb up to 15ml of exudate while maintaining structural integrity and patient comfort. The soft, flexible material conforms to body movements without compromising seal integrity. Clinically proven to reduce healing time and minimize pain during dressing changes. Suitable for chronic and acute wounds in various stages of healing. Each pack contains 10 sterile dressings with easy-peel backing for efficient application.
Suggested Use
Prepare wound site using appropriate cleansing protocol. Remove protective backing and center dressing over wound with 2cm border overlap. Press adhesive edges firmly for complete seal. Monitor wound progress and change dressing every 3-7 days or when clinically indicated.
