r Also known as Sweet, True, or European Basil, this variety is high in Linalool, flavonoids, and antioxidants. It is the sweetest basil, and the safest for topical use.

r This is a food-grade essential oil. The aroma and flavor are both spicy-sweet, green, herbaceous, very complex, with balsamic and subtle anise-like tones. Calming to the nerves, basil is also used in aromatherapy for mental clarity and relieving fatigue and headaches.

r Therapeutic properties include anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, analgesic, and because it is rich in antioxidants and flavonoids it is also anti-aging for skin care.
