Description
🍃 Black Tea🍁 Maple Blend☕ Medium Caffeine🌿 Loose Leaf
A Canadian cup — smooth black tea brushed with the warm sweetness of real maple.
Black Maple is a quietly Canadian thing: a malty black-tea base layered with the buttery, caramel-leaning sweetness of maple. The tea isn’t sugary — the maple sits behind the leaf rather than on top of it, which is why it stays drinkable cup after cup. The result is rounder than a plain black tea, but never cloying.
It works as a morning cup, an after-dinner pour, or a small autumn ritual. Drink it neat to taste the maple clearly, or add a splash of milk for a more dessert-like cup. No sugar required — the leaf carries its own sweetness.

Tasting Notes
🍯
Maple Sweetness
Aroma
Warm, buttery, slightly woody — the smell of maple syrup over hot toast more than candy. Greets you before the cup reaches your lips.
🍵
Malty Black Base
Body
A smooth blend of Ceylon and Indian leaves chosen for roundness over astringency. Carries the maple sweetness without going thin, holds up to milk, doesn’t turn bitter on a longer steep.
🍬
Caramel Finish
Aftertaste
The maple lingers softly into a caramel-toned finish. Clean, not sticky — the cup ends and you simply want another.
How to Brew
01
Measure
One level teaspoon (about 2–3g) per 8oz cup. A touch more if you take it with milk.
02
Heat the Water
Bring water to a full boil, then let it rest 30 seconds — around 95°C / 200°F. Boiling water is fine for black tea, but the brief pause keeps the maple aroma intact.
03
Steep 3–4 Minutes
Three minutes for a brighter cup, four for a fuller, sweeter brew. Strain the leaves cleanly — over-steeping pulls bitterness from the black base.
Water
95°C
Time
3–4 min
Per Cup
1 tsp
Pours beautifully as a maple latte: brew double-strength, add steamed milk, finish with a small drizzle of real maple syrup if you want to push the dessert side further.
About the Tea
🍃
Black Tea
The Base
A smooth, malty blend of orthodox Ceylon and Indian black leaves. The Ceylon brings clarity, the Indian brings body. Whole-leaf grade — no dust or fannings.
🍁
Maple Flavour
The Sweetness
Natural maple flavour layered through the leaf. Carries the warm caramel-and-toast notes of maple without adding sugar to the blend.
✨
Nothing Else
The Honesty
Two ingredients only — leaf and flavour. No added sugar, no syrup pieces, no candy bits. The sweetness you taste comes from the maple aroma carried by the tea itself.
In the tin
Black tea, natural maple flavour.
Origin & Sourcing
Black tea sourced from estate gardens in Sri Lanka and India, blended for a smooth malty base. Maple flavour layered onto the leaf in small batches — a Canadian classic served the way it should be: tea forward, sweetness behind it.
