Description
r A mild flavored legume with a smooth texture. A rich source of Potassium. Can be used in soups, casseroles, and on rice or your favorite grain. Make succotash by adding whole kernel cut corn.
r Basic cooking instructions:
r 1 cup Baby Lima Beans & 4 cups Water.
r Sort and rinse before cooking.
r Soak beans overnight.Drain and rinse beans.Add 4 cups of water for every 1 cup of beans.Liquid should be 1-2 inches above the top of beans.Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer about 45 minutes, or pressure cook 3-5 minutes.
r 1 cup of beans yields 2 – 2 ½ cups cooked beans.
r Cooked beans can be stored up to 1 week in the refrigerator and up to 6 months in the freezer.
